In a bustling city where life is hectic and often ruthless, Jiji found his destiny. Regarded by many as a nuisance, a danger to be avoided, Jiji was nothing more than a lost child, facing the cold, hunger, and human cruelty.
On a frosty day, as the wind howled through the desolate concrete alleys of the city and the riverbanks were deserted, Lukas, a man walking on the other side of the river, spotted a lone German Shepherd. How this solitary canine ended up there was a mystery, as the riverbanks were surrounded by a high concrete wall, and the exit was blocked by a fence. Lukas realized the dog couldn't find its own way.
The lone four-legged companion wandered along the riverbanks, seemingly not expecting help, with an empty and lost expression, determined to face the world without compassion. Lukas, with the determination to help the poor dog, ran home to grab a ladder, returned to the river, and carefully approached the frightened animal.

Lukas's friends, who were waiting for him, brought a cage and lowered it down. They worked together to lift Jiji into the cage and get him safely out of the ice. Lukas took the rescued dog home and named him Gigi. In the days and weeks that followed, the once lonely and fearful dog became a cheerful and lively companion.
What started as a rescue turned into an unbreakable friendship. Gigi not only found a home in Lukas but also a loyal friend who would never let him down. Jigi and Lukas became inseparable.
