Stephanie Easley , a volunteer with No Dog Left Behind Minnesota, said: “He loves and checks on the puppies all the time, and even allows foster families to hold her puppies for checkups.”
During this same period A litter of puppies was found in an abandoned building. Without their mother by their side, No Dog Left Behind Minnesota took them into their care.
Because this litter of orphaned puppies are in their infancy. They are at high risk of not surviving, so caregivers are trying to care for them as best they can.
However, no matter how well you take care of it, They found that it still wasn’t good enough for the puppies. Because they need to be with their mother. That’s when everyone thought of Sara.
When we studied it, it was found that puppies from different litters could live together. Volunteers took four orphaned puppies and introduced them to Sara, hoping she would love them like her own.
At first, everyone was a little unsure. But when Sara saw the four puppies, she immediately knew what to do.
Sara accepted the four new puppies regardless of whether she gave birth to them or not. She nursed, cleaned and cared for them like her own.
Although Sara’s biological child is slightly older and larger, But all of them accepted their new siblings willingly. They lived together, hugging each other, like siblings from the same litter.
Easley said: “The corgi puppies were very gentle with their littermates and would sleep together. Sadly, one of the four orphaned puppies was too weak and later passed away.”
“The other three are growing every day. Under the care of Sara… No one knows what breed the orphaned puppies are. But it is expected that it will be a pit bull. However, we will have to wait and see when it grows up again.”
Thanks to Sara’s love and care, the three puppies are no longer orphaned, and their foster families will care for them until they can find their final homes.
